Homemade Electrolyte Solution

•Customized based on my food sensitivity blood results—

•10 oz of water

•2 Tbsp of fresh lemon juice

•2 tsp pure honey

•1/16 tsp salt

I drink this each morning during the most intensive portion of my Mediator Release Food Sensitivity Program to reduce chemical detox symptoms such as headaches and fatigue.

I increase the ingredients (esp sodium) when my cardio goes up during my 1/2 marathon training, events/races, and fitness challenges that I sign up for such as “Dri Tris” (pretty much an indoor sprint triathlon) which consists of—

•2000 meters on a water rower

•300 body weight exercises on the training floor

•5k run

I usually get my sodium up to 1/4+ tsp in my during workout solution and adjust, if needed, during my training or on “game day.”

*Note: always experiment with new fueling solutions prior to the event to ensure you stomach feels good. You don’t want any surprises tripping up your day.
